Poolside is a Chicago-based startup that allows restaurants to post job listings and connect with specific individuals who not only fit their needs but also identify with their specific style.
We helped Poolside rebuild the backend software architecture. The new architecture was also meant to serve as the foundation for building new features for the Poolside mobile app.
To start, regression testing was conducted to thoroughly understand the application from both a structural and functional perspective. This allowed the team to learn about the application and also assess whether there were any undetected errors.
From an infrastructure (DevOps) perspective, our team and Poolside worked together to refactor how the product was originally built. After careful consideration, the decision was made to build a new infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
