MovUp, Grupo Alto’s product, is a technological platform dedicated to providing last-mile solutions, yard management, and end-to-end visibility and traceability for the logistics cycle across multiple sectors. Grupo Alto aimed to create a new product called Alto MovUp and implement a pilot test in one of the world’s largest retail companies for their last-mile operation in Mexico.
To address this challenge, we organized a team of Python developers for the backend and React Native developers for the frontend. Each group had dedicated leaders. We also had several software quality control testers, a user experience and user interface designer, as well as a project manager to coordinate everyone, along with the client’s product owner.
Results:
Onboarding a team within a week and successfully starting the project.
Project completion in 10 sprints as planned.
Facilitating a smooth transition to an internal team capable of maintaining the platform and developing new features.
